FAQ Technic

The cleaning is done by a jet-nozzle system that blasts from below, above and from the side. The parts to be cleaned, held in a parts holder, are placed on a turntable that rotates slowly during the cleaning process. In the process, the cleaning liquid, together with the cleaning process, breaks up the paint to be cleaned into its components.  The cleaning fluid itself is not "consumed" by this process. The cleaning fluid can therefore be used for a very long time. However, an efficient recycling system is a prerequisite for this.

According to the viscosity, this is only possible to a limited extent, because small parts such as pigments can also contaminate the cleaningfliquid and reduce the cleaning power. However, these parts do not make the cleaningfluid significantly thicker. The only simple solution is therefore that it no longer cleans cleanly.

I check the nozzles for dirt

I check the nozzle pressure to see if it is around 2.5 bar during the cleaning process

I run the recycling process (without cleaning) 2-3 times and change the Sorbex between each run.  In this way, the cleaning fluid in the fast cycle regains its cleaning power.

No they are also used in rotary pad printing, screen printing for smaller screen cleanings and flexo printing.

2-component inks that are removed from the press for cleaning are also cleaned. 2-component inks that are fully cured must be placed in the cleaningfluid for 1 to 4 days for cleaning.

That goes very well.

No they should be placed on their side to dry for about 10 minutes after removal. The drying time can be reduced to a few seconds if the parts are placed in a water bath. The cleaningfliquid is water-soluble and immediately combines with the film of cleaningfliquid. When removed, the water drops off immediately.

If the cleaning device is used extensively, the cleaning agent may heat up. In this case, a slight odour may be perceived. In this case, we recommend that the unit be placed in a separate room or in a small cabin, or that it be vented with a simple fume cupboard. Cleaning agent Cleanax 200.1 has a very low odour. Cleaning agent 220.1 can smell slightly of lemon. In practice, most of the cleaning devices are located near the printing presses.

It is not a hazardous substance according to GHS (Globally Harmonized System).

No, they are held in holding nests. They just have to be pushed in, as with household cleaning systems. There are ready-made holders for most pad printing accessories.

No, the cleaning fluid remains the same for a very long time. With the new NTD recycling system, keeping the fluid clean is very easy. However, we recommend a general cleaning every 4 years. If you do not want to do this yourself, we will be happy to make you an offer for this service.

Ecocleaner 500 is the best-selling device. It fulfils many requirements in pad printing. Up to 12 ink pots size 90 mm and other pad printing utensils can be cleaned at once. This makes it possible to load the entire set of equipment into the unit at the end of the work and remove it cleanly from the unit the next time work starts. The cleaning time is 5 to 15 minutes.

Ecocleaner 740 is constructed like the ecocleaner 500, only larger. The holder has a diameter of 740 mm.  The 740 is used where the Ecocleaner 500 does not have enough space for the parts to be cleaned.
